Nothing is more constant than change, or as they say? Dortmund back on 1. Bayern lost some by “only” 2:1 against Augsburg, while Dortmund 3:1 was enough to gain. The gap was small, it remained small, only the other way round. To what extent one is objective with this, to what extent one is right, is of course a rather philosophical question. Nevertheless, for Wednesday’s match – not only because of the divergent market opinion – it clearly beats Dortmund.
Otherwise, there was only one other exchange. The losers from Augsburg, of all places, made up TWO places with the brilliant result without scoring points, one each to HSV and Nürnberg, although Nürnberg even came back from Freiburg with a draw. As you can see, they also gained points, only Augsburg just a bit more, so that it was enough to change places. HSV also scored, but, at least in this ranking, they are treading water.
Stuttgart almost caught up with Leverkusen.
