As soon as almost any German citizen hears the statement “something is wrong in football, there is room for improvement in a number of areas”, then this person often reveals himself to be someone who is usually only remotely connected to football and who only marginally follows the nevertheless, he almost immediately puts the blinkers on and stuffs earplugs into his ears, because what is now expected of him has long been known, discussed, suggested, rejected, has already been assessed down to the smallest detail by an infinite number of experts responsible for it and thus nothing, but there can also be absolutely nothing new for him to experience. That being said, any “do-gooder” is either seen as very young and naive, or, if matured over the years, can only be whimsical.
Beyond that, however, the observation made–which is the more essential and at the same time curious part of the reaction–is that one would have to make their own well-thought-out suggestions, which simply outperform any alternative suggestions heard. In this respect everyone is in principle a little do-gooder, but the multitude have this in common: they ALL are not heard.
Should he nevertheless allow himself to be carried away to keep his ears open for the first half of a sentence and to let the other person speak for a moment (an example should be mentioned: “One should think about being offside, because somehow that doesn’t quite work So in my opinion one would have to…”) the temporary listener will nevertheless become impatient from this point onwards, no matter what follows, because from now on it doesn’t matter how the sentence is completed, he does not only thought about it for a long time, caught a few views, at any random point of a sports program, for example, when there was a problem with it and an obvious injustice happened, but also formed a firm opinion of its own, which must be conveyed to the man as soon as possible .
In this respect, every further sentence is “just so” written down here, so to speak, in the safe knowledge that nobody will read that far anyway.
